Halloween at High Noon 2016 Update - 5/30

In the spirit of celebrating 10 years of Halloween at High Noon, we have decided to incorporate some older material into our new recordings.  This includes material from previous Halloween at High Noon releases as well as unreleased material -including that from pre-Halloween at High Noon projects.

We have selected several "moments" and are working on infusing them into the new album.  This, of course, has bumped us up to 25+ songs, but that will work itself out in the end.

We intend to begin posting what we'll refer to as promotional tracks as well as an eventual promotional video as the album release date gets closer.  Stay tuned for more.

Halloween at High Noon 2016 Update - 5/23

This will be the first of many updates on the progress of our pending 2016 release. We’ve been recording and putting together material since this past Halloween, but now is when we get heavily into the production phase. And we are very excited about this one.

We have our title, which we will share at a later date.  We are currently at 22 songs, but this number is fluid as tracks are removed and others added over the course of the production process (and some of those 11thhour tracks have become our favorites).  This past weekend in particular saw two songs come into their own.
We are now on Bandcamp, so be sure to check in there for extras – we’re discussing the possibilities of a pre-release track, album pre-release orders, and other supplemental material.  We will also be sharing sounds here in some of these updates – current project material, fat we’re cutting (our ‘B-Side” collection could be an album or more on its own…and may just be eventually), extras, etc.
Stay tuned.

Halloween Countdown Mix - 171 Days

As we are just past the halfway to Halloween mark, we decided to create a Halloween mix/playlist that we will be assembling here - one song at a time, one day at a time, until we're finally home.

Since it's Friday the 13th, it seemed only right to start the mix off with Harry Manfredini's classic Friday the 13th Part III theme song.

Halloween at High Noon artist, Monster Maker, has begun production on their own rendition of this song, but they have shifted their focus on the upcoming Halloween at High Noon album for now. But stay tuned for future Fridays that fall on the 13th...

Friday the 13th Announcement

Happy 13th, Creeps.

A new installment of Halloween at High Noon will be out this fall, and we will be posting information and updates about the release frequently.

Halloween 2016 marks 10 years since the release of the first Halloween at High Noon album, so this one is special.

Look for updates here and on Twitter and Facebook...and possibly some surprises on SoundCloud and our new Bandcamp page.

Stay tuned...and tormented.

Stella's Place

Roman Polanski's 1976 film, The Tenant, is a High Noon Records favorite, as is the music from the incomparable Philippe Sarde.

One particular song from what has been unofficially labeled the "party scene" was not included on the soundtrack and, from what we understand, is not available on any medium.

We wanted to celebrate the music, the artist and the film; and since this song is unavailable elsewhere (and is secondary to the dialogue in the scene), we chose to recreate it.

Stella's Place by Monster Maker, a High Noon Records production.

Please enjoy.
